Safety Policy

It is the objective of Blue Star Construction to provide each and every employee with a safe and healthy working environment.

To this end, we recognize and accept that there can be no compromise of employees’ safety. Therefore, it is recognized that all supervisors understand and accept that the health and safety of employees is their prime responsibility. Our supervisors are responsible to ensure that equipment and work areas are maintained in safe condition, and that all employees work in compliance with established safe work best practices and procedures.

It is fundamental that all of our employees recognize and accept that they have a responsibility to work safely, maintain a safe work environment, and report all unsafe conditions and practices immediately. We provide employees with quality safety training as regulated by the Ontario Ministry of Labour, as well as implement in-house safety policies and procedures to ensure all precautions are being taken on every project. We provide all of our employees with a copy of the Occupational Health & Safety Act for their guidance and protection, so compliance with the Act is met at all times.
